Skyrim Collector's Edition Review.....

~ Update ~
I have been hearing rumours of Bethesda are in the process of creating another DLC and plan to inform PS3 users first. I will keep an eye on this and you let you all know if these rumors are correct or the studio plan something else instead :)
Onto the more awesome stuff! I promised to review The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collectors Edition.
Stunning! .... 9.9 / 10

Upon examining the box artwork, I was utterly amazed! The mountainous terrain with the Nordic ruins in the background. Surely this is a masterpiece in it's own right? Just the size of the box gave me the impression that something pretty special situates within. The art-book was definatley something special, images ranging from statues, environments to character development and arms and armour. A leather like cover with the raised, detailed symbol of Skyrim, larger then A4 with 204 glossy pages. Dedication and care are clearly demonstrated throughout. A pleasure to read:)

The next was the making of the game DVD, again a pleasure to watch. Next came the game ofcourse with the cloth map of the province of Skyrim. I think it would have been nice if the developers signed them. This would have made the edition more appreciative and personal to the buyer. But here is the icing on the cake!

Believe me when I say that it looks exactly like it does in the image (below.) Comes in two parts: The stone wall and the Alduin himself. This statue was created using the highest level of PVC using the 3D digital files that were used in the game. The paintwork is perfect... the attention to detail is staggering. (TAKE CARE, ITS QUITE SHARP!)

The Game itself
Great visuals, very well researched, scripted beautifully with realistic voice acting. The variety of NPC's, evironments, enemnies etc are amazing to say the least. The game shows strong elements of history and mythology. E.g. Ice Wraiths, Nordic culture and so on. The reason why I gave the edition and game 9.8/10 is purely because of the unsigned cloth map, one or two glitches within the game (one where your spouse tries to kill you) andwished there were more trees (lush areas) but thats my personal opinion:)

If you want the edition, Check Amazon or Ebay. Ebay usually sell them around £99.00- £150 max, make sure they are a trusted retailer and check the condition. I wouldn't want you guys missing out!

If your one of those people who appreciates the detail in the artwork and the history behind the game, then this is a must have!

Thank you Bethesda!
